Historic Cambridge Walking Tour
Monday 27th June 2016, 8pm Duration 1 hour, leaving from West Road Concert Hall.
One of the best ways to see Cambridge, the University and the Colleges is a walking guided tour with experienced guides. This tour will cover the must-see places of Cambridge and explain the origins of the city and University, and share some of the fascinating stories of the city. You will be looking at some of the most important and impressive sites Cambridge has to offer which may include the Corpus Christi Clock based on the grasshopper mechanism designed by John Harrison to overcome the problems of measuring longitude and The Backs the area behind some of the most famous colleges with views of the lovely buildings across college meadows, lawns and the River Cam plus much more.
